- Tap "Menu"
- Tap Settings
- Scroll to and tap Network settings
- Tap Network mode
- Tap Automatic, tap Select

- Scroll to Settings, press "Select"
- Scroll to Network settings, press "Select"
- Scroll to Network mode, press "Select"
- Scroll to Automatic, press "Select"

- Press the Apps key
- Tap "Settings"
- Tap "Network settings"
- Tap "Network mode"
- Tap "Automatic"

Samsung S8500 Wave
- Press the Menu key
- Touch "Settings"
- Touch "Connectivity"
- Scroll to and touch "Network"
- Touch "Network mode"
- Touch "Automatic"
- Touch "Set"

- Press Menu
- Scroll to "Settings", press Select
- Scroll to "Connectivity", press Select

- Tap "Applications"
- Scroll and tap "Settings"
- Tap "Wireless and Network"
- Tap "Mobile Networks"
- Uncheck "Use only 2G networks"
