T-Mobile Samsung A886 Forever  APN Settings for 4G / 3g and MMS

 

 

 

Configure browser settings

To manually configure your Samsung A886 Forever for browsing on the T-Mobile  4G network, follow these steps:

 

1. Navigate to Access Point settings: Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Network Profiles.
2. Select Create and create a new profile with the following settings:
   

    

   Set Name:	T-Mobile
   Access Name:	epc.tmobile.com
   Auth Type:	Normal
   User ID:	None
   Password:	None
   Protocol:	HTTP
   Home URL:	http://wap.t-zones.com
   Proxy Address:	None
   Longer Time (sec.):	300

   
   

   • Select Save to go back to Network Profiles menu.
3. Return to the Menu settings and select Internet.
4. After the browser has loaded, select Settings > Browser Profiles then select the name of the newly created profile (e.g. T-Mobile  4G ).

 

T-Mobile MMS settings

1. Navigate to Access Point settings: Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Network Profiles.
2. Select Create and create a new profile with the following settings:
   
   

   Set Name:	T-Mobile MMS
   Access Name:	epc.tmobile.com
   Auth Type:	Normal
   User ID:	None
   Password:	None
   Protocol:	HTTP
   Home URL:	http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
   Proxy Address:	None
   Longer Time (sec.):	300

• Select Save to go back to Network Profiles menu.

1. Select Menu > Message > Message Settings > Picture Messages > Picture Message Profile. From the picture message profiles, select T-Mobile MMS.
